About us
The organization is a private group, formed on the basis of persons who had attended the institution of JOSE MARTI HIGH SCHOOL, located in Twickenham Park, Spanish Town, P.O. St. Catherine, Jamaica. These alumni maintained contact with each other over many years and through alumni events, alumni, whoalumni maintained created a bond of fellowship, trust, and dedication for each other. Consequently, the group was formed with an aim of serving and helping the community of Jose Marti, former Staff and alumni who may need assistance. alumni maintained

We remain mindful of the teachings that shaped our character and guided our growth. We express our sincere gratitude to all who contributed to making us who we are today.We further commit to using our blessings, knowledge, and prosperity to uplift those in the Jose Marti community who may be in need. In doing so, we hope to honor and strengthen this extended family of Brothers and Sisters of José Martí, united in service, compassion, kindness and with the endeavor to taking care and serving each other.

The organization was known as the Four Brother of Jose Marti created on March 9, 2017. The founding members of the organization are Orton Reynolds (graduating class of 1981), Marlon Valentine (graduating class of 1984), Cecil Hopwood (graduating Class of 1985) and Stanley Saxton (graduating class of 1986). These individuals constituted the Founding Members Group (FMG) and Board of Directors (BOD).
The name of the organization was amended to be JOSE MARTI BROTHERS and SISTERS ORGANIZATION Inc. (JMBSO) to include and reflect new members of the Board of Directors as of June 25, 2024. hey are Donna Campbell (1985), Sharon Hall-Frey (1985) and Novelette Morgan (1990).
Our Board Members represent the heart of our alumni community. As Founding Members and dedicated leaders, they embody the spirit of service, mentorship, and lifelong connection to our school. Their commitment ensures that our past student organization continues to thrive, fostering unity, preserving traditions, and creating opportunities for future generations. Together, they stand as role models of excellence and guardians of our shared legacy.
